2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Re: Interfacing on: September 06, 2010 10:37:43 AM
Any fabric that's a little bit thicker would work as interfacing. What you want is to add structure to the wallet. You have to make sure tho that your machine & needle can handle whatever fabric combo you use.
Thank you Smiley I was afraid another fabric wouldn't give the structure I need.
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Interfacing on: September 06, 2010 02:40:38 AM
So here's the deal: I need to get fabric interfaced but I don't have interfacing.
I want to make this: http://verypurpleperson.com/2009/10/wallet-tutorial.html
I'm not sure where I can get it around here and I'd prefer not to spend money right now because I'm trying to save some. I'm wondering if I stitch two fabrics together it'd work as fabric interfaced. I also have padding but it'd make a very bulk wallet so it kinda sucks.
Thank you Cheesy

Well I've got some special items that I really want to frame, but since they're: one pair old shoes with dirt, t-shirt and jeans full of stains and some hair, they're not exactly pretty. They mean a lot so I really wanted to ask for some ideas to show them and still make it pretty.

I just wanted to share this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ann-d/sets/. Check her moleskines. They're just a handful of inspiration. I just wish something I'll be able to do something similar to this xD

I love your journal. I'm starting mine and I really want to try make more collages/drawings but I've the habit to start writing and never stop. I really hope I can make many cool collages like yours Cheesy

Start trying this:

and also read the tutorials here in this section of Craftster.  You'll learn a lot that way.
Thank you Smiley I'll definately try this!

Anyone knows good tutorials about lining a bag? I can't seem to figure out one way to do this. It's just too weird. With images it might help. Or a good video Smiley And what about adding pockets, is it very difficult?
