221  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Re: For those who have the Craft Pad... on: May 02, 2008 02:46:09 PM
My copy of Craft Pad just arrived today!

It does have selections from a fair number of Jenny's patterns.  No more than one or two elements from each pack, and certainly not from every pack.  There are also a few that I'm pretty sure come from either the Sublime Stitching book or the Stitch-It kit, but I'm not sure (I don't own either of those).   I think Craft Pad is a good sampling of the patterns, but don't count on it having your favorite pattern, either.

Personally, I am pleased with it -- I'm not madly and passionately in love with every pattern, and there are certainly a few that I know I'll never use, but it's a lovely assortment of really fun patterns.

Your tree rocks!  You may not use a lot of different stitched, but there is *nothing* beginner about it.  I love the way you've got all those different colors and shapes going in there... and how perfect your split stitch is!

I also bought a 4 pack of tea towels at the store today, and I am planning what I want to make for friends.  And I barely even know what I'm doing!    Tongue

I just started stitching a week and a half ago, and I know exactly how you feel -  I have a thousand projects planned in my head already!  Good luck!
224  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Re: Ultimate Embroidery needle size on: May 01, 2008 06:53:49 PM
Well, I have the Ultimate Embroidery Kit from the website, not the Stitch It kit, but I should still e-mail customer service and ask, you're right.  But since I seem to be carrying my needlework with me everywhere I go these days, it probably won't be too hard to compare them at the craft store next time, if I'm too lay to send e-mail.

Thanks!
225  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Ultimate Embroidery needle size on: April 29, 2008 10:16:41 AM
I just started emboidering a week and a half ago, thanks to Sublime Stitching, and now I'm hookied!  But I have one question -- does anybody know what size embroidery needle comes with the Sublime Stitching Ultimate Embroidery kit?  Because I'd like to get more needles, and it would help me to know what size I already have!
