1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / flower card! on: July 16, 2009 02:43:33 PM
I love cards and paper goods, but I'm better at crocheting than at scrapbooking/card making, so I glued a crochet flower onto some cardstock and I really like the effect.

2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / flower headband! on: July 16, 2009 07:11:06 AM
I had some little crocheted flowers lying around, and I wasn't sure what to do with them, so yesterday I crocheted a little white headband then sewed one of the flowers onto it.

What do you think?  I think it's a bit bolder than the accessories I usually wear, but I think it would look great on someone else's head!
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / baby blanket! on: July 06, 2009 08:05:53 PM
I finished this up this morning.  It's sort of small because I didn't have much yarn, but I love the colors.

4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / grey and turquoise wallet on: July 05, 2009 07:35:32 AM
I whipped up this wallet/business card/gift card holder last night...  I'm still not really sure which use it would be best for!

5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / crochet wallet/business card holder on: July 02, 2009 04:32:15 AM
It seems that black crocheted items don't lead to the greatest photos...  Sorry about that!  I just finished up this little wallet/business card holder.  It features a little white button with a "wrap-around" string.

6  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / another crochet cosmetic bag! on: July 01, 2009 10:51:20 AM
I just finished another little cosmetic bag.  This red is so bright that it looks really awkward in the photos...  I'm not sure exactly how to fix that.  What do you think?

7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / flower crochet bag on: June 30, 2009 01:24:20 PM
I just finished this bag up today.  What do you think?

8  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / crochet cloths on: June 30, 2009 08:58:08 AM
I made these little cloths to be used as potholders, dishcloths, or washcloths...  They're supposed to be versatile, and I love that little puff stitch because it really adds a good texture.

Please tell me what you think!
9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / crochet cosmetic bag on: June 30, 2009 08:53:21 AM
I finished this little bag up last night.  A good deal of it was done while my laundry was going - Who knew crocheting was the perfect laundromat hobby?

10  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Crafts so far... on: February 15, 2009 04:18:21 PM
I've been working on crafts for my April wedding, and this is what I've gotten so far (please tell me what you think!):

For centerpieces, I made a bunch of tissue paper flowers to put in baby food jars decorated with cardstock and ribbon:

For favors, I made labels for mini-Hershey's bars and then attached each one to a small sheet of cardstock stamped with a heart, and then put them all in a basket I got at a thrift store:

Lastly, I crocheted a ring-bearer pillow.  I'll use fake rings the day-of, because my nephew/ring bearer is still sort of young and likes to throw things, but for pictures I attached our real rings.
