3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Pimped his ride..... on: May 25, 2008 05:05:11 PM
My daughter (3) was looking at the pictures saying "I want that car!".

Yeah, I just showed my 2 year old and he keeps saying "I wanna ride in car!" Too cute!

That is such a sweet ride! You did an amazing job! You should find more cars and pimp them out, I bet you could make bank!!! Sell them on Etsy or Ebay, rich parents will pay hundreds for stuff like that!!! =D
4  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Kid's Felt Crown (pic heavy!) on: May 25, 2008 04:52:17 PM
Hey everyone =D I just finished this "experiment" and it turned out pretty good so I thought I'd share.

So, here is the story, I was at a craft fair this winter and I bought this adorable crown for my son:

he put it on and I couldn't say no (I know, I'm such a softy!!)

So anyways, after inspecting and being a little shocked that I spent $10 on it, I decided that I could totally make one.  I am going to visit my little brother and sister next week, so I figured making a few for them would be a perfect opportunity to figure out how to do it! I have not started the one for my sister yet, but here is the one I made for my little bro (he is 5):

My 2 year old son, Oliver, modeling it:

(sorry about the no shirt!)

After I am done with the one for my sister and feel more confident with the process, I can attempt to make a tutorial, so let me know if you are interested in one please!

Thanks for looking =D
