3  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / bostonterrier babytoy on: March 21, 2009 08:52:02 AM
A hasty project for a birthday boy!
I had no time to go shopping for a present for my cousins baby who turns 1 year this weekend, so I did my own.
This baby's birthday is one day before my Bostonterriers birthday so i thought I make a tribute to both of them Wink
A stuffed toy made from cottonfabric.

Eyes, mouth and nose is painted on with fabic-colour.
4  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Panties For Dogs with out- or short tails for when in heat. on: March 14, 2009 05:03:26 AM

My lovely Ax is going in to heat for her second time soon so she needed a comfortable pantie. The one I bought for her first heat gave her red marks om her skin...poor thing. And it had a hole for a tail...

These panties are made from cotton.
The pattern I made my self Smiley
5  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Dog overalls/Jumpsuit for winter. on: March 14, 2009 04:57:19 AM

This one I made for my poor cold dog. Now she can play in the snow all the time without shivering Smiley
I remade an allready existing pattern so it would suit my Bostonterrier.
The fabric is "Beaver Nylon" (if it's what its called in English...It's an direct translation from Swedish)
And fleece on the inside. Smiley
it has en opening in the backside so she can go potty if she like to.
6  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Dog overall on: December 29, 2008 12:19:14 PM
I finally made an overall for my bostonterrier Ax. She gets sooo cold!
I made it from cotton with a fleece lining.
The pattern came from a book, but it was meant for stretchy fabric so I had to give it an extreme makeover! It took half a day Tongue
The fit is quite good, but the legs are to tight... well well, it fits anyway Wink

7  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Overall/jumpsuit pattern for dog on: December 16, 2008 02:28:06 AM
I'm looking for an overall/jumpsuit pattern that will suit a small bostonterrier...
The only ones i found was made in a stretchy fabric so they don't work.
I want to make something really warm for my little dog. She gets really cold.
So if you have a pattern so sheer? Wink

(Damn, the spelling check didn't work....hope you understand my poooor spelling)
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / HELP! What should i make? on: September 23, 2008 04:33:00 AM
I just made coat for my dog and got some fabric left. Fist I was just going to do a ordinary cap like hat. But I don't know... There are so many models to chose from. What do you think?
What would suit me?
Please post pictures, links to sewing patterns etc. Smiley

Here is the coat (fabric), the dog and me. One neutral and one "dressy" pic so you easier can see what kind of hat that would suit me Wink

we had terrible weather last week, thats why I made it, but all of a sudden it's sun outside all day, so I have not tried it om her outside...
Its made of wool with a plastic lining against the rain and fleecefabric to keep her really warm.
