So, we moved into this house and the garage had been remade into an extra living room/sports room/bar. Not needing ANY of these, we decided to turn it into an additional bedroom. We added a wall for a storage area...but the problem remains that this WAS once a garage.
I now have these ugly metal pieces that supported the garage door coming out of the ceiling. They go through the ceiling and attach to joists in the attic. To take them out or cut them would be time, labor and perhaps money intensive. I'd much rather find a way to disguise them.
