Another really easy thing to make is a skirt - just take the right length of fabric to go around your waist plus however much you want for "movement" reasons - I usually add an extra yard, stitch up the one side, put in a casing for elastic, and hem it to length. No pattern, easy peasy - especially if you use a pretty, flowing fabric.
Hi everyone. I desperately need help. I've been searching and searching for safety eyes - the little plastic black ones with the metal or plastic washer/grommet things on the back. I am in the Pacific NW and none of the local stores carry them, and a google search turns up a bunch of UK retailers, but no one in the US with any sort of selection.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can find safety eyes in the US?
I recently took my crochet hooks on a trip with me in my carryon. My scissors got confiscated, so I bought some fingernail clippers (without the file) and have been using that to cut yarn when traveling.
