So i finally got this done last night. I was working on the hat at 550 and he had to be there at 630 LOL
looks great if I dont say so myself Smiley hehehe

not bad for a 2 day sewing job LOL.
I cut up a thrift store blazer for the jacket and made the pants from material I had.
the colors match but look wonky in the pics.

LOl I tried Smiley They are christmas ornaments for a friends tree Smiley
BUT I tried my hand at them,.They arent perfect. BUt I like them all the same.
The tut here made them seem SO easy, let me assure you that is NOT the case.
I spent 2 hours last night making these Smiley

things I get done late into the night w/ miss jorja staying up until 2 am chattering away to me Smiley
Skull print baby set. I think jorjas gonna get into it ONE TIME lol shes a big ol girl Wink
2 long sleeve dresses and 2 long sleeve tops for my older girls for winter.
And a calvin n hobbes stenciled shirt for a christmas gift!(Im matching it up w/ flannel lounge pants)

i finally broke down and made a tutu.it was pretty easy took alot less time than i thought lol.this one is going to go under a skirt im making one of my girls.

i finished them the night b4,same day i sewed threw my finger lol

I took the plunge and made one Smiley Finally.Took a bit more work than I thought,. But this one is a keeper folks Cheesy
My youngest DD loves it.I made the buttons up the FRONT vs the back like the orginal tutorial to see how it would come out and I like it alot.
Ill be doing the buttons on the back next time to see how I like it. Kat

Sorry my pics are so big ! I made my 5 year old DD some jeans out of a old pair of mine. They had holes in the crotch and no the back pockets lol.
There is a sewalong for this at Sewingmamas Forums so Credit to the OP there.
I took a pant pattern in my daughters size, lined them up on my jean legs, cut it out , sewed the crotch up and then made a casing for a elastic waistband, inserted elastic ,stitched up back. Added ribbon trim of her choice and a matching tank and this is what we have.
I didnt have to do ANY side seams or hems since they were already done on the jeans.  This was a pair of flare legs I had.
