1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / First post: Berets :D LINK TO PATTERN! on: March 18, 2009 02:19:37 PM
Okay ive been crocheting for about 2 months and i made a beret for my friends birthday because she loved my first beret

First beret

The color isnt nearly that bright, the flash makes it look really hot pink, but its more mellow

Then i chained worsted weight yarn with my n hook, i think, then made a beret for Rebecca

this one is true to color

The pink one was made with lion brand wool-ease and the yellow one was made with bernats baby sports something yarn (you can tell im a cheapo, right?)

Not bad for a 12 year old, right? I hope she likes her present Grin

2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / Rainbow unciorn party on: March 14, 2009 05:05:05 PM
OK, my friend Rebbecca's birthday is coming up and we decided on a rainbow unicorn theme. I'm already going to make http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=258219.0, Its perfect! Now i need insanely cheep decoration ideas for a rainbow party, we're twelve, we don't have any money to spend on stuff, well Rebbecca's 11, but still! I think I'm going to make lots of lucky stars and fill up a big glass jar of them in rainbow order for a centerpiece. Any other decorating and party favor ideas? Huh
3  COOKING / Dessert / Insanely simple REAL hot chocolate in your microwave on: December 07, 2008 06:13:56 PM
For all the stove-less people, like my brother who's going to go to college

I bar Hersheys milk chocolate
I cup milk

1.pour milk into mug
2.break off four blocks of chocolate and tear up until they're tiny.
3.Put in microwave for 4 minutes, stirring at 1 minute intervals, until chocolate melts
4.drink it up Cheesy

(for a mocha flavor, add a bit of instant coffee and use dark chocolate instead)
