1  First post: Berets :D LINK TO PATTERN! in Crochet: Completed Projects by doglvr123 on: March 18, 2009 02:19:37 PM
Okay ive been crocheting for about 2 months and i made a beret for my friends birthday because she loved my first beret

First beret

The color isnt nearly that bright, the flash makes it look really hot pink, but its more mellow

Then i chained worsted weight yarn with my n hook, i think, then made a beret for Rebecca

this one is true to color

The pink one was made with lion brand wool-ease and the yellow one was made with bernats baby sports something yarn (you can tell im a cheapo, right?)

Not bad for a 12 year old, right? I hope she likes her present Grin

Vintage rose, 14 yards worsted weight, 2 oz.
It sure doesnt smell like a vintage rose Cheesy it smells animalish, even thought i washed it. Oh well. Its actually pretty even, for my first yarn. I loves it  Smiley Its barely still Friday (11:08), but I did it! At age middle schooler, I spun my first skein of yarn! I'm so proud, and my moms all itchy! (she has a wool sensitivity. Undecided)
