I was out walking today and ended up finding some metal locks or keyholes. I dont know where they come from but i immediately fell in lvoe with them and had to buy them. So I did.
When I got home I got my pliers and started bending and heres the result:

I would have liked a chain in gold but I cant get hold of it here. So I might change the chains when I get back home next week.

5  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Masquerade on: April 27, 2008 03:22:06 AM
So a couple of months ago I was going to masquerade with my sister and a friend. The night before the two girls realised that they didnt know what to wear !
So well, my friend borrowed a red dress and I made her a cape and she could then be little red riding hood. She was really cute =)

Then my sister...  well we decided to use some make up we had bought for halloween a year ago and then she could play dead. So I made her a dress... its really not welll done but it turned out quite good.

So welll this is what we looked like (I was a cell phone )

Close up on my sisters make up. WE got about an hour late because I had to do her hair and make up and well... it took some time.

and then heres the back. She really loved it.

Very pretty! It looks embroidered...what kind of paint did you use?

I actually dont really know what kind of paint it was. I wanted to do this and my mum had some paint for textikes at home which she wasnt using so I got it from her...

thats really cool did you have some kind of stencil thing or was it free hand? either way tis very beautiful

this was free hand  =)
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / peacock skirt on: April 26, 2008 03:08:51 AM
Last summer I did this henna tattoo on my sister and I really fell in love with the motif.

so I decided to make a skirt with the peacock on. So I took an old bed sheet and turned it into a skirt on which I painted the peacock =) I really love how the skirt turned out <3
