2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / 3 more bags. on: October 28, 2009 03:49:58 PM

This one is my newest delight.  I love the little butterfly.  I dont know if you can see the curly q in green showing the butterfly buzzing around.

I would like to know what you all think about the dragon fly.  I may be trying the 80 bags in a month again.  I have 2 new stores that are carrying my bags.  Yippee!!
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Weekender Dog on Ski's on: October 25, 2009 11:39:51 AM

This is a weekender bag that I wanted to keep.  It was HUGE.  I have been working with sweaters for 4 almost 5 years....I have over 600 sweaters and this is the only one of its kind that I have found.  I am always looking for ones with animals on them.  I did find one with a puppy in a boot and when I got home I noticed on the back it has 2 puppies inside the other boot.  Cant wait to make that one!!!!
4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Dragon fly and turtles my new faves!! on: October 13, 2009 06:30:11 AM
My new dragon fly bag.  Actually my husband suggested this and we collaborated on it.  I love it when my family gets involved with my bags.  This bag is fairly large.  I would say this is the "everthing but the kitchen sink" or the very light overnight. (Hey, that kind of rhymes)

The strap on this bag is an extra large man belt.  It is a 56 I think.  The inside is a blue commercial grade upholstery fabric.  I will try to get a picture of that too.

The turtles my oldest son suggested.  I love these little turtles.  Must make more.  The picture is terrible.  This is a huge bag.  It would be good for a diaper bag or an overnighter.

5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Brown 2 tone with Flower on: October 01, 2009 08:18:16 PM

6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / The Ultimate Bomber purse (I added 2 more bags on page 2...) on: September 27, 2009 11:16:13 AM
My new purse made out of a bomber jacket.  Love this bag!!!  My neighbor came over with her husband's bomber jacket that met its demise at the hands of an interior painter.  It was in a closet with louvered doors....they did not empty the closet so this got painted through the slats.

7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / cindygert is back in the saddle again on: September 13, 2009 07:59:36 PM
I feel like it has been forever since I have been on here.  I see lots of great crafting going on here.

I am really excited about the fall getting here and making more bags.  I have 50 currently waiting to get to a craft show in the Columbus Oh area on October 3 at SoBo Style in Clintonville.  I have never had this many done at one time before.

Here are several of my sweater bags.  I may be able to post more.

My newest endeavor...all leather.  I hope to have several more of these done in the next two weeks.

Let me know what you think.  I love to hear everyones comments.
8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / This bag started as a "weekender" that turned into a "I'm movin' in" bag on: January 05, 2009 09:47:47 AM
This bag started as a weekender bag.  When I got it finished I thought, I could take all of my stuff and put in this bag it is so huge!!!

This is my gorgeous niece modeling for me.  She will actually recieve this as a gift.

A close up of the cutey patutey owls

Here I put the metal feet on.  This is the first time I have used those.  And the leather on this is yuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmu yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy yyy!!!  It is an upholstery grade leather.

I love it.  I will definately be making more of these.  I think my other niece will be getting one with a Big Red O for The Ohio State University.
