Im making a skirt very similar to this (in style)...  did you use box pleats?  if so, you'll probably undestand why i havent yet bothered to finish the skirt, its taking AGES! And currently looking like a cheerleader skirt, it so better be worth it.

Ok so I was bored and I hunted through my fabric box and found this

I originally thought it'd look good as a strapless summer dress, just a tube cinched in with a belt

but.. it just looked awful on me...

anyway, Iv pulled it about in front of the mirror and came to three ideas

I can make it a skinny dress

a loose top with a tight band around the hips

or a loose dress with a tight band around my thighs (basically a longer version of the top...)

which would look best do you think??

Oh, and please excuse the messy room  Tongue
xx

It looks great! I'm trying to make my first piece of clothing too (a circle skirt)... Did you spend a lot of time on yours?
i have just bought some fabric to make a full circle skirt, and a pattern for a circle dress Smiley looking forward to those..

my skirt took about 3 hours... so not very long really, probably would have took less time had i done one before.

thanks mewyam Cheesy.
