6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Discussion and Questions / Beads For Life on: October 01, 2008 07:48:09 PM
When I was looking for ideas for jewelry, I stumbled upon this website:
http://www.beadforlife.org/
The beads are made from women in Uganda living under extreme poverty and horrible diseases such as HIV/AIDS. Buying products from them will really help them out, and the beads are so beautiful! They're very colorful and are made out of recycled paper as well.

10  CRAFTING FOR GOOD AND NOT EVIL / Crafty Charitable/Social Causes / fund raising from kids on: June 15, 2008 01:20:59 PM
kids (ages 5-17) and adults at my church are planing to do fund raising to helpl out our church, we already planned garage sales and bake sales. We also had the idea of selling crafts that kids make. My question is what kind of crafts are easy enough to do, but still are good enough to sell? Huh
