1  the critter in my mind in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by windblade_icepuppy on: April 21, 2008 07:46:06 AM

Meet Meng Dao the Pangerra. He's a kind-hearted but pragmatic warrior, adoptive father of two, bodyguard of the cousin of the human emperor.

Digital art is fun!

2  brooches and pendants yay! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by windblade_icepuppy on: April 20, 2008 05:59:46 PM

The picture's not very good, sorry. Two wire-wrapped beach pebbles and a spider brooch, design inspired by something I saw on the internet

Cicada brooch! The abdomen is an actual pinecone!

Mantis! My favourite of them. One of the ladies in my poetry class ended up keeping it, but I loved it so much I made three more!

Dragonfly pendant! An older one, the original is also gone but I made a second version

The scorpion pendant, my very first "creepy crawly" pendant.

I've also made a beaded ladybug brooch and an ichneumon wasp brooch, but I haven't had time to take pictures.

designed on paintchat with a friend! It's hand-sewn, recycled fabric scraps with navy blue buttons for the eyes.

4  demon doll in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by windblade_icepuppy on: April 16, 2008 01:25:38 PM

A little old, and I'll probably have to remake the jacket, 'cos one of the arms split... but I made it all by myself, without any pattern.

also, hey, newbie here!
