A present for my friend's wedding.  I hope she likes it!









The words are kind of hard to read, but it spells out "Forget what we're told/Before we get too old/Show me a garden/That's bursting into life" which is from Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol.

I picked the song because I knew she liked the band, I didn't realise it was her favourite and she actually had it as the first dance!

Wow, I don't know what I like more, the dress or the fabric.  WANT WANT WANT!  <3 <3 <3  Did you use a pattern, or draft one yourself?  If you used a pattern, please please share which one so I can give it a go!

Fabulous!  I did Classics too, and can't believe I didn't recognise that.  Possibly because my edition of Catullus bowdlerised the translation somewhat... 

I HAVE to do calligraphy of that now.  "What's that, your family motto?" 

Awesomeness!  Finally, a halter neck I may be able to wear (I usually avoid them because they make the girls look kind of low slung, but a giant hood should balance that out)!
