1  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / king size no-sew blanket on: March 24, 2009 10:03:16 PM

i made this one for my coworker, but it is not the first one i made, the 1st one was for my boss hers used 4 colors of fleece with 1/2 inch wide 3 inch long ties were my coworkers used only 2 colors 1 inch wide 3 inch long ties,  both took 12 yards of fleece total for both front and back, and took around a month to finish but probably about 7 to 10 hours total from start to finish needed to take alot of breaks as it is hard cutting and tying on the floor and in a limited amount of space.
finished measurements are about 8 feet by 8 feet
2  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Discussion and Questions / help with finding correvt glue on: October 30, 2008 12:47:27 AM
i plan on working on glass blocks the ones you see in older building for semi privacy windows/walls
and i want to add felt to the edge of the block so they dont scratch the shelves or table it is sitting on.  i was wondering with glue would work best with glass and the felt?

sku # 929-7425   and  patt 5371 matchmaster prts by antex california

i will have to post a pic of the design whenever i find where my camera went.   but the fabric is a medium blue with maroon/dark purple flowers with a lil bit of a periwinkle

6  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Discussion and Questions / china markers on: April 16, 2008 11:28:11 AM
i was wondering if any one has used a china marker to draw a design onto glass. did it stay long enough for you to do what you needed to do? what do you use to get rid of the marks when you are done?
