4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: A Corset I'd be Happy With if it Fit on: August 13, 2011 04:35:18 AM
That flossing is beautiful! What an elegant corset. I hope you managed to fix the fit issues in the pattern for your next one! I wore my corsets even though they have numerous issues, and it was still great fun. One day I hope to make a corset as elegant as this.

Beautiful and professional looking color combination. Great bag!
6  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Fallout LARP Costumes (VERY Pic Heavy) on: August 12, 2011 12:26:46 PM
Both versions of the costume look awesome, not to mention total badass! Together with the mask it's really creepy, and I could totally see you walking around in Fall-out!
7  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Two corsets; one Suger and one Spice on: August 12, 2011 12:23:30 PM
These are my first two corsets. One very sweet and the other less so. Both are part of costumes for a Fantasy/Fairy Fair. I had a great time wearing them, and I was very relieved when I could take them of again; Those things are tight!

The first one is a very, very, veeeeeeeeeeeery loose interpretation of a dress from 1750's France.

The skirt is trimmed with 28 m. of frilly pink lace.

After all that sugary sweetness, a leather corset was required to balance things out. Smiley

I based the central figure on art deco designs and the designs Alan Lee made for LotR. It's created by 'quilting' the design through all layers to create depth and dimension, and then painting it on with acrylic paint. I used two different colors of gold for a nice shiny effect.

The back:

Both corsets are based on Laughing Moon 100, with extensive changes for fit and look. They were a lot of fun to make, even if they did cost me 3 years of my life and two fingernails

9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Burda 7733 into Tripp inspired jeans!! on: May 21, 2009 11:07:34 AM
seriously inspiring jeans. I love these, and they give me a ton of ideas for my own projects. (I'll have to think of a way to incorporate all those cool straps and chains in to my day wear; a business suit Cheesy) Great idea, and great excecution as well. Did you topstich those ribbons/straps?
10  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: 1540's dress on: March 01, 2009 08:29:42 AM
Very Cool colorcombination as well.
