Did you paint the owls onto the wallets? They look awesome! Completely changes the look of a standard (pretty ugly ;-)) wallet. Great job.

I really love this purse - especially all the pockets to hold necessary items!
I'd love to make one for myself, is it possible for you to post some vague or detailed instructions?!

have you considering staining or varnishing the wood to finish it?

These look amazing! I have an old wood burner that I bought once on a creative impulse ("I have to try *every* kind of art" impulse) that has been put on the back burner (harhar) .. but it might be time to pull it out!  Cheesy thanks for sharing!

How about painting onto food? :-)

Yes, that is a real slice of bread!!

I'm a primary (elementary?) school teacher and I did this project in mind to do it with some of the classes that I teach in. I have successfully done it with a Year 5 (9 year old) class ... the finished art looked amazing! Most of the kids painted eggs, one did jam on toast; some did different little crazy things, like taking a bite out of the toast, making the egg spill over the toast onto the plate, double yoke egg, etc.

The toast is varnished so it will never go moldy. I silver leafed the knife and fork.

I didn't work too long on making the egg look realistic, but that is the idea. Be keen to see what else people find to paint on besides paper or canvas.  Cheesy

This is amazing. I am passionate about art and books, and you have combined them both so well.   Passionately illustrated books inspire me ... like this does!! Please, please do more!

What a cool idea. I love the innocence of the baby rabbit.

What did you use to paint/draw these? You have achieved a good effect.

Wow, what a totally cool idea!! What did you do the 3d octupus parts out of? Is it just a heavy grade paper?

Well done, you rock!
