151  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Quilted Purses made with 4" squares on: March 11, 2009 07:21:46 PM
Made these for a couple of 9 year olds at church. The red and black was for a birthday present. I used chinese printed fabric and black.

The second one was for a girl that cut her hair and donated it for the Locks of Love. I was so proud that a 9 yr old was thinking of others that I had to do something nice for her.

They were both made with 4" squares. There's a small pocket on the outside and one on the inside.
152  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Canadian Quilted Diaper Bag on: March 11, 2009 07:12:15 PM
Made this diaper bag for a friend of mine. She is from Canada, when she visited last yr. I asked her to buy me some Canadian fabric. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it at the time.  When she told me she was pregnant I knew exactly what to do with it. It has three pockets on the outside and three on the inside. I also made a changing pad with the red and white fabric

153  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Donut pin cushion on: October 10, 2008 06:36:16 PM
You did a great job for winging it.

Here are my donuts, I made some hot chocolate with marshmallows to go with it.  I got my donut pattern from: http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=32761. The hot chocolate was my own pattern.

154  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Tons of tiny horses -with link to the pattern on: August 28, 2008 07:27:55 AM
I made one a few months ago.  The little boy I made it for really enjoyed it.  Here is my picture of it.

Also used the same pattern.

I'm half way through one myself.  I am using the bottom of a 3-liter that I got at Dollar Tree.  A hole punch works really good.  But using the painters tape is a great idea.  I used a piece of paper that I used some double stick tape.  Painters tape would be much easier. I used an 1/8" hole punch because the regular hole punch hole was too big for my taste.  I had to use a C hook to do the first row than went to a larger hook.
Here's my project:

Yours is turning out really nice!  I'd love to see when you finish.  Smiley

Here's my finished project. I added a strap so I can carry it with me on the road.

156  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Stripey Zippered Moneypouch- thing. (Now with tutorial!!) on: August 14, 2008 10:49:12 PM
I love the idea.  Also about using pants that someone has outgrown.  I have a three year old and lately he's growing like a weed.

Here's what I've made with circles.  The circles are 6".  I used plastic canvas on the inside to keep it's shape.  I'm making these for my nieces.  For the handle I just ch 7, then sc for as long as I wanted the handle and sc the handle to the circles. I call them my Citrus purses.  I've made the lime shown below and a lemon and orange one. Enjoy

Love you rooms.  I'm still trying to figure out how to arrange my craft space.  I have a building that is 12x20 and I can't find anything now.
