1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Magical purple corset star purse of awesome! *XL image!* on: April 12, 2008 01:38:19 AM
Grin I am so proud of this purse because of the cuteness! I made one for myself originally and used the same concept to create this one..I don't use patterns, but you can sort of guess how I did it based on shape and such- there's not a lot to it.
I love the corset idea because it took almost no effort to recreate the victorian style in a new crazy way

If you're interested in looking at more of my stuff, here it is:
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Long delia's skirt into a short trendy item! on: April 11, 2008 11:18:16 PM
First post from a troll! I had this large skirt that was waaaay too long for my likes so I shortened it up and it looks SO much better!

It fit me, but it was a teensy bit too loose and I needed new clothes anywho!

tell me what you think, constructive criticism is fine too!

7  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Elfen Lied boots on: April 11, 2008 10:49:45 PM
that's really cute! I have attended an anime convention over a two year period and won the hall cosplay both times. it was naka-kon, and i'm definately going next year.
sry for the bigness and lack of cropping at the moment...
here's this year's costume A WiiMOTE!:
8  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: Do eBay stores work? on: April 11, 2008 10:08:12 PM
I have an etsy account but NOTHING has sold and traffic has stopped. Ebay, on the  other hand, seems more user-friendly and inviting to people who would otherwise never see my crafts. I don't own a store because I just started out and I'm dipping my feet in the water, and the 15 dollar fee seems pretty daunting at the moment. I hope it works out!
I'm trying to get more traffic through social sites like facebook/myspace- it does get people to click, and that's the first step in any sale!
