1  "Accidentally on Purpose" Sweater... HELP! in Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller by joygoddess on: January 25, 2005 09:33:07 PM
So, I've finished knitting the 21" of length... and I did the right side of the neck line just fine... BUT, I'm not sure what to do about do the left side now.  Undecided

Here's the front panel of the sweater so far:

And here's the problem area (there's a gap in the neck line where there shouldn't be one)... hopefully, you all can see it:

The patterns says, "...work as right side, connecting yarn at neck edge...," but each time I've tried, I ended up with a hole. I didn't accidentally drop any stitches I wasn't supposed to, and my needle is holding the 26 st it's supposed to have... can anyone explain how to connect it?!  Huh

Awesome job!!! Love those stripes...  Grin

I also finished the one I made for a friend... I ran out of olive, and my LYS was out of stock, so I had to frog several rows and throw in a hot pink stripe. I think it gives the hat some attitude, lol.

Hope those work... the last time I tried to post pics, it was all red x's.

3  Re: Poster Boy Bag in Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller by joygoddess on: January 14, 2005 10:18:29 AM
I think I've finally decided to make a poster GIRL bag, with my favorite actress of all-time, Katherine Hepburn. Now I just have to decide which image to use, as they both look good on the KnitPro graph paper:

I'm hoping to start on this bag over the weekend!!! Has anyone else started theirs yet?
