I'm not sure if they have exactly what you are looking for but I suggest www.strapworks.com I know the have lots of strappings and supplies and for really really reasonable prices. Let me know if that helps!
hey thank you so much for this tute! I had to read it a few times for it to click (like someone else mentioned), but that is just the way I work. When it did click, I realized how crazy simple it is! Note to anyone else trying this for the first time- be sure you cut the rectangle to the final size..not the size of the zipper itself! (this was probably just me not really thinking before acting)
The Goodwill Super-store by the Northeast Mall is pretty awesome. I even found a whole bunch of fabric there once! Also, "Graceful Buys" in Grapevine is small but reasonably priced and you can find some pretty neat stuff.
A lady at work was paying her tailor $1.00/patch for her daughter's girl scout uniform and some uniform for her son. When she found out I could sew, she asked me to start doing it instead. The tiny patches do take a decent amount of time to put on and I use my own thread. So, as much as I would like to do it for free, I do think I should charge a little bit. I honestly have no idea here! I will be doing it whenever there are a handful of new patches to put on. This time for example, I put on 18 patches total. At the tailor, she would be paying $18.00 which seems crazy. Any ideas?
