1  Plain old afghan... in Crochet: Completed Projects by oheymegan on: April 10, 2008 04:20:48 PM
...literally. But I'm just so darn proud of it! Of course pictures dont do it justice, but the whole thing is a basketweave and it just has shell edging. I didn't use a pattern, just kept on going till I was happy with it.

The center part is like an off-white, ivory color aaand I ran out of yarn, so I ended up using that light green/tealish color to do the rest (those Caron One Pounders). I really like the way it ended up, though. There's a row of dark green around the whole thing, too...it doesn't really look green in the pictures. Also, the border looks bigger on one side than it is on the other, but they really are the same size.....and it's a nice rectangle, not some weirdo shape like it looks. I just didn't have enough floor space to lay it out properly x.x

It isn't that big, about 3.5 by 5 feet, but it's large enough to wrap around me when I watch tv! And after washing, it has a really great drape to it.

Close up of the stitch and edging.

This is my first post (long time stalker)...actually I used to have an account, but cant remember my username/pass Embarrassed
