LMAO! I love them.
Now I want to make a series of undies with my fave words for the female anatomy on them!

I love this idea. We should start a list of our favorites!!! The more ridiculous, rude, and obscene, the better!
What about Cookie Jar, Cock Pit and Eager Beaver......

Great Job on the pants!!
13  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Europe swap - there are loads of US only so why not??!! on: November 26, 2008 02:33:14 PM
I cant believe the post i started ages ago is still going!(thanks NiinaMaria) It must be my most successful post ever! Is that really sad considering that there are only like 35 replies?(and that I'm counting!!lol)  ....I know I'm being silly and petty but I don't care!

Anyhow, I'm in Ireland, just like Saor but also spend time in Sweden so might be able to get some Scandinavian goodies.

Ireland doesn't have to much to offer.....Tweed, Guinness(I'm not sending that!), some nice yarn, cheesy Irish leprechaun paraphernalia, good chocolate (much like British choclate), traditional Irish music? The list is unfortunately very boring.

I love the way niinamaria divided up 1/3 crafts, 1/3 supplies, 1/3 my country doesn't have that. That sounds perfect.
It would depend slightly on the dates but I think you can count me in. Now we just need an organizer!

I think this could be a really great swap!

His is georgous and so cute. I love the fabric and the design. Both you and your daughter have excellent taste. This reminds me of a sun dress my mum made for me when I was a child and I loved it to bits also. I fekt so proud that my mum have made it and your daughter seems to feel similarly about her new dress.
Great stuff!! Smiley

Thanks for all the great feedback!!! I am so glad that everything got there okay. I had so much fun making all the stuff for this swap and loved how it got me to use loads of different mediums and techniques!

There have been some really great packages over the last few days and i have to say that i loved the bath tub book cover - such an ingenius idea. Might make one as a christmas present for my mum if plumcrafty doesn't object.

oh and ps terrabella just thought that i would point out that the cranes on the mobile need to have their wwings pulled in a down and outwards direction. When you do this the back expands and they become 3d. I had to leave them flat for sending. You could cheak out a "how make a paper crane" video on you tube and then just follow the last step.
17  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Update my shoes... on: October 19, 2008 04:04:32 PM

I have this really ugly and boring pair of heels which i bought cheaply once and have only worn once (to a funeral)
Because i hate them and because of bad associations I was thinking i moght try and update them a bit. My usual style is crazy, and sort of bohemiean and whimsical. I like statment shoes and my favorite shoes are from irregular choice shoes http://www.irregularchoicestore.co.uk/. I love how there crazy, cute and unexpected. I was thinking i might stencil my shoes and maybe change the button to one coverd in a cute fabric. Any ideas for designs and colours or tips (about what paint to use etc...) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a mill!!

Funny how you guys are talking bout Altoids. I was always fascinated by all the great Altoids tin crafts I saw but had never seen altoids for sale in Ireland so I asked my fab swap partner for some as an extra in this swap. I received two tins of them and have been trying very hard to eat all the mints so that I can use the tins for something else!  This hasn't really been a problem as I am addicted to mints!
