4051  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: The Simpsons ...a picture fat sculpted Nativity by isewcute on: September 08, 2010 09:31:37 AM
absolutely fabulous!!!!

I will make a tutorial on how I do it ...starting with Homer. Will list all the tools & materials...there weren't that many really. Just give me a couple days to get started on it. Craftster is about sharing after all.  Smiley Hubby would appreciate his own... I can't believe how much he's pestered me about 'giving' the others away! Silly muggle!  Cheesy

I MUST have this!  Are you selling it?  Can you make another?  I LOVE IT!  I collect nativity sets...I have a Playmobile one, and The Simpsons??? It'd be awesome!

I don't have a license agreement to sell these, so I'm sorry, but I can't.  Sad I'm wicked flattered you like them though! Thank you for the love! It means the world to me!
brilliantly done!
i bet your swappee was thrilled!
Thank you! I'm pretty sure she likes it! She may be keeping it on display all year rather than just for the holidays.  Cheesy

Wow, what a great job.  You have an incredible attention to detail.
Thank you! You know the hardest part was getting the figures to be the correct scale to one another. Sculpting one was easy, but trying to make another the right size to the first one was tricky.

If anyone want's any tips or suggestions on trying to make one of their own, I'd be glad to help with that.  Smiley

4057  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Amy Butler Field Bag on: September 07, 2010 03:20:23 PM
Thank you for sharing where you got the fabric. I always wonder where folks find it...whether its something from their stash or something new.
Piping is daunting. I also have the weekender bag pattern & am dying to make it out of some teal & black Elvis fabric I bought in bulk for the project...but the piping scares me away from it. Maybe after some more experience with piping in general & I'll give it a go.

Amy does a good job in laying out the instructions doesn't she?
4058  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: My first ever project! on: September 07, 2010 03:12:07 PM
My goodness you've completely inspired me!!! Your DD is adorable & that pony is equally cute!
I'm a knitter & have trouble working out the crochet stitches. I'm looking at this & thinking, well if she could do it, maybe it would be possible for me too. So far all I've done is babydoll hats for my girl. Maybe we'll give this another try.

Thank you for posting this!  Wink

Oh my goodness! Those are just too adorable! Thank you for helping with such a wonderful cause.

Thanks Pam! I kind of feel guilty for how much fun this was to do!

Wish I had time to do more. Hopefully they will do it again later on.

Me too! I sure hope so!  Smiley I saw your dolls on your blog! Wicked cute~
4060  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Halloween House#2 Painted or not? (Image heavy) on: September 07, 2010 02:35:29 PM
This is incredible! If it were painted...a little would go a long way... I'd just add accents if any. It looks super creepy as is!  Smiley
