21  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Another no-sew rag quilt thingy (lots of pics!)*Now with directions* on: June 23, 2008 08:56:42 AM
I've tried tying regular cotton and it didn't exactly turn out pretty and it was really hard to tie. Flannel worked pretty well though. But I'm not sure about denim. Maybe if it's stretchy denim...
22  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Free Patterns for Clothing on: June 20, 2008 04:18:25 PM
Has anyone been able to find free patterns for swimsuits? I just keep finding the Martha Stewart ones and I want to make a halter top bikini...
23  CRAFTSTER CRAFT CHALLENGES / Craftster Craft Challenges / Re: Craft Challenge #29 - Childhood Heroes - Due July 1 - July 5 2008 on: June 08, 2008 06:00:52 PM
This would be my first challenge so I'm curious about the finer details of it all. Cuz I've been working on a project for a while now that would fit perfectly with this challenge. But can I submit a project that wasn't started at the beginning of a challenge?

If you don't alter any measurements the blanket it's big enough for a twin size bed. But you could always add more rows in either direction, or use smaller squares if you want a different size. And unfortunately I haven't finished the next one yet. I'm working on like three other projects and my main one is this awesome ninja turtle cross stitch blanket. I can't wait to share it with every one and I'm so close to being finished!!

They are all different types of fleece. with this blanket I was trying to find matching colors and patterns that would look good together, so at my tiny Joann's I couldn't be too picky lol. I normally get most of my fleece from Joann's and they seem to have some type of sale on it all year round. and don't worry I haven't forgotten about that tut! lol just having camera issues...
