1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Be Gentle.. My first post and first dishcloths! on: May 08, 2008 03:20:00 PM
Oh wow!  Thanks to everybody for your sweet comments!  I really do appreciate them.  I was so nervous about what people would think of my stitches and everything lol.  I'm very excited to be here on Craftster and my daughter is just thrilled that I'm finally starting to get into it.  Thanks again for all the sweet comments!

2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Be Gentle.. My first post and first dishcloths! on: May 06, 2008 01:53:28 PM
My whole live as far as crocheting goes I've always made huge afghans and blankets.. so, I would get burned out every so often and there would be year-long lapses before I'd crochet again.  Then I miss it!  So, my daughter convinced me to try smaller projects.. like dishcloths for one.. something I could whip together quickly and still really enjoy.  So, I tried it out and here is the result.  I'm very proud of them all.  I gave all of them to my daughter for her cute little apartment.

The multicolor one has a ruffle border.  I really like how it turned out.  It was hard to get a good pic of the ruffles.

Then there is the mint green one with a pink border.

And then here's the one my daughter says is her favorite.  In fact, she loves it so much she said she'll never use it as a dishcloth.  She uses it sort of like a doily on one of her shelves in her apartment.

I really hope ya'll enjoy them.  I know my daughter seems to really love them.  And remember.. be gentle!  This is my first post! lol

Thanks for Viewing!
