3  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / A Penguin, Owl and Duck on: February 07, 2012 08:22:51 PM
I started with the penguin pattern from the Lion Brand website. Then I figured if I tweaked it a little I could make other animals. I think it's a cute pattern. My mom likes owls so I'm always trying to find a new pattern. I've made her at least ten different owls so far!

4  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: DON'T BLINK! (Weeping Angel from Doctor Who) on: February 07, 2012 08:06:24 PM
This has to be the cutest weeping angel! They were so scary in the episode, but are one of my favorite 'bad guys' of Doctor Who. Very well done.

Thanks for sharing this pattern! It was fun to make Smiley

6  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Frog Pillow on: June 28, 2009 04:19:34 PM
I just finished this frog pillow today. Grin I'm excited because it's my first crochet project with this many parts!

The pattern is in Annie's Crochet Newsletter No. 21 for May-June 1986. My mom had some of them from when she did a lot of crocheting.

7  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: Turtle-Along, anyone? on: November 03, 2008 05:47:07 PM
I know it's a little later than all of yours, but here is my version! He's supposed to be a gift for my brother, but he's so cute I don't know if I can part with him. Cheesy Instead of changing colors I used a variegated yarn color called blue green ombre.
