1  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Stripey dog bed on: January 28, 2006 06:17:38 PM
Okay, so my dog has like 4 beds now, but I think this is her fav.  It's under the computer desk, so she hangs out there while i'm online (that is if she's not in my lap!) The base, back and sides are 1" foam, and the cushion is a 16x16" pillow form that I made a zippered cover for so I can wash the cover if needed.  She sometimes burrows under the pillow to sleep, wish I had a picutre of that to show you.. the pillow with her feet sticking out from underneath!  I made it before I had a sewing machine, so it's a combination of fabric glue and hand stitching holding it together.  It's held up pretty well so far.  Anyways, here she is conked out in her favorite bed:

2  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Discussion and Questions / Ironing on to canvas on: January 05, 2006 02:20:31 AM
I saw these awesome gift ideas in the newspaper last month, you send in a picture and they print it Andy Warhol style on a canvas.  I wanna try, but don't know squat about silk screening or anything like that.  any of you ever ironed-on to a framed canvas??
3  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / doggie rain coat on: November 06, 2005 12:01:24 PM
I made my little girl a rain coat the other day.  she HATES that hat, she doesn't like stuff on her head I guess (she didn't care for the bunny-ears hat I made her for halloween) anyways, I know you can't see the actual jacket much, but here it is:

Hi All!  I have been visiting this forum for a long time, but this is my first post.  I have been pretty bored at home lately (lost my job recently  Sad ) and my poor dog has had to deal with getting dressed up now!  I have only made a few things, the ones pictured here, a plaid vest thing, and some booties.  I was thinking about setting up a website to hawk these eventually.  Right now I have them on e-bay.  Let me know what you think!  This is also my first attempt at posting pictures in a forum, so I hope they work...
