Soooper cute!  I love that.  And Gerdie is adorable!  My mom has a Pomapoo, but he just looks like a fat pom.  My pom hates hoods, but they look so DARN CUTE with them on!  Love it!

Oh, I was so excited to see another "Honey" post!  She is becoming so fashionable, I can't wait to see the next addition to her wardrobe!
3  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: Need a business name on: February 13, 2006 05:12:31 PM
Hmm?  No one?  Sorry, I'm a little impatient!  Anything really would be welcomed.  Doesn't have to include any of the words above.  Would like it to sound fairly professionsal, wouldn't mind something a little quirky, but nothing too "cutsey".  I have helped a lot of other people think of business names, but now that I have to think of my own, I'm stumped!!
4  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Need a business name on: February 13, 2006 08:41:59 AM
Hey craftsters!  I just started my own web/logo design business, and while it's not exactly a craft, it does allow me to be creative, so I'm happy.  Anyways, my current clients are bugging me to hurry up and get a business name registered, but I'm not feeling creative in the name department.
So, I'm thinking I want something that feels "local" since most of my business will be through word of mouth.  I live in the frozen tundra of Minnesota, so I was thinking something with "Noth" or "Frost" in the name, (but my 1st choice, NorthStar Design, is taken!) or my favorite number is 13 so if there is some way I would incorporate that... also, I have had some suggest using my middle name, Leigh (pronounced Lee) in the name, as in "CertainLeigh something something designs"
Okay, so:
North, Frost, Leigh, Thirteen, Misc cold or northern related words

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thank ya, thank ya!

Your little sweetie looks just like my Sophie. is she a long haired Chihuahua? That's what Sophie is. She loves sleeping under things too.

No, she's a pomeranian, but people always ask if she's a long-hair chi, or even a crested!  Thx for the feedback:)

WOW!  I think yours is WAY better than the one at petco - especially with the furry top.  I know I said this before, but your dog is beautiful!  I used to have a choc. lab with a deep brown coat like that, I love that color.

Okay, so my dog has like 4 beds now, but I think this is her fav.  It's under the computer desk, so she hangs out there while i'm online (that is if she's not in my lap!) The base, back and sides are 1" foam, and the cushion is a 16x16" pillow form that I made a zippered cover for so I can wash the cover if needed.  She sometimes burrows under the pillow to sleep, wish I had a picutre of that to show you.. the pillow with her feet sticking out from underneath!  I made it before I had a sewing machine, so it's a combination of fabric glue and hand stitching holding it together.  It's held up pretty well so far.  Anyways, here she is conked out in her favorite bed:

OH - Also, you might want to check out the tutorials in the purses section of this site, there is one that is like a scrunched version of the 1st purse (shorter, but with the rouched-look) that might get you on the right track.

I love that second one!  I have just started making purses, so I have only done them from the Jordy tutorial on this site, but I may have to try to venture off and take a stab at that baby... I am just thinking of all the ways to shnaz up the stringy things on the sides..... Smiley
10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Spring Wristlet and Pencil Pouch on: January 18, 2006 06:28:51 PM
I really like the wristlet.  A friend of mine used to buy small purses and thread the handle through her belt loop when we would go out dancing so it wouldn't be in her way.  I bet she would have loved to have something like that!
