Finally finished my half sleeve of crafty tattooness! It features a sewing machine, thread, rotory cutter, thimble, iron, seam ripper, and tape measure. Love it! Took three sessions each lasting about 4-5 hours. Enjoy! Sorry the pics aren't the greatest I took them with my phone!

4  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: The Brightest Diamond Quilt on: March 07, 2011 07:41:39 AM
hey whoopdeeogo!  nice to hear from you.  Do you still use the turtle quilt? Smiley

It is not really cold enough for quilts in Texas.  That does not stop me from making them. I also use thin 100% cotton batting and I display them on a quilt rack on my wall (and gift them).

Heck ya I love that quilt to death! I still show everyone who comes over! Its pretty much the most amazing quilt ever! Smiley

so I decided to go for the half sleeve sewing tattoo...I orginally had a sewing machine here

then added to it here is a tape measure--of course it needs colored...only my 1st session so far...got most of the line work and some colored in!

Here is the iron with a cute heart! notice the seam ripper!

here i added a rotary cutter, thimble, and some extra thread!

After I finish I it will be fully colored in as a solid sleeve! Enjoy! let me know what you thinK!
10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: New Purses and New Tampon Wallets! on: December 03, 2010 06:36:13 PM
They all look great but I LOVE the first bag!  Is this your pattern or a purchased one?  It reminds me of one I make but I really like the rounded shape and placement of the handles.  Great job!  They look amazing!

Oh...do you mind an assembly question?  I was just curious, but when you attach the handles, do you attach them to the tab that goes along the top of the purse, then attach the tab to the main body of the bag?  Does that make sense?

Thanks!

Hey thanks! I attach the handles to the main body of the purse then sew the top tab over them, then fold it up and do a finishing stitch across the top! Hope that makes sense!
