What do you mean exactly by cutting a water bottle to make it a self watering planting? Do you keep them outdoors?

16  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: The big thread of transfer pen/pencil questions on: September 23, 2008 05:08:01 PM
Do you find the sulky brand pens work the best?
Do they show up nice and clear every time?
I've heard mix reviews on the pencils..
I'm a cheapo so if I'm going to spend money on a new product i want it to work well every time i use it.
17  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: The big thread of transfer pen/pencil questions on: September 23, 2008 04:55:13 PM
I'm not sure if my question has already been answered somewhere in this thread.. if so, sorry!

When I craft I don't usually follow any directions or use patterns... For my embroidery projects I usually just draw my design on the fabric with a washable marker.. But I'm doing a project for a friend of "Thomas the Tank Engine" and I want to make sure it looks exactly like the reference picture.. My printer is broken so I had to use a piece of shrinky dink paper to trace the image off of my computer screen.. Then I made a home made light table (with a window pane and my desk lamp)  Wink to get the image into normal paper.. now i need to figure out how to get the image onto fabric.. hmmmm Huh

Do transfer pens work? And if so which kind is the best that I could buy at Michaels?
If anyone has suggestions on an alternative lemme know! thanks Cheesy

wow this is awesome! Vegetables make good inspiration!  Is it really over 5 feet tall? It doesn't look that big in the picture.. unless that chair is huge.. lol I'm 5 feet tall so I'm imagining myself sitting in that chair.  Smiley
