1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Lots of Baby Crochet on: May 26, 2009 02:59:14 AM
I've been crocheting baby stuff like crazy since I found out I'm having a girl (Gretchen Lily)! Here's the finished pieces... (FYI: the sweaters are all based off www.Yarny Days.com two great sweater patterns)

2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Buffy/Spike Tote Bag on: April 29, 2008 11:56:38 AM
I needed a break from the more intense embroidery I was working on so I decided to decorate the $2 tote bag I got at walmart. I was watching "Once More With Feeling" from Buffy season six and I love Buffy and Spike together so here it is.

Thanks for all the compliments... I really appreciate the feedback. I'm not really sure how long it took... probably a few weeks working on it off and on. Here is a http://bp3.blogger.com/_0GMJC5QEX5k/SA40wNq_jnI/AAAAAAAAATM/BmXFidAmFZ0/s1600-h/Embroidery_InMyHead.jpg to a close up pix off my blog.
5  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Embroidered Needlebook on: April 22, 2008 12:30:02 PM

I was inspired by all the cool needlebooks I saw here and since I was losing so many needles tumbling around in my old Puma shoe box I decided to make one for myself. It was pretty fun but I like making things up as I go along and I had to plan a little more with this. Which is way the pocket is a bit lopsided and the blanket stitch bites but the cover turned out pretty good! Cheesy
6  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / In My Head on: April 22, 2008 12:25:45 PM

I finally finished this! It just started out as an idea with the hair being opposite words and I just kept adding elements from there. Her top is supposed to be flowers and vines and then blood and veins but that part didn't turn out too well. Overall I'm pretty happy with it. Any thoughts?
