1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies / My First Diaper Cake on: July 27, 2011 02:18:17 PM
Sorry it's yet another diaper cake post Tongue but I'm really proud of this my first cake for my first nephew!  My sister is doing a jungle theme for the nursery so I thought I'd use it for the cake.  I hate pastels so I went with bright colours and I think it's fun!  Let me know what you think.
2  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions / HELP it doesn't fit but I love it on: September 24, 2010 01:36:18 PM
I bought this dress from modcloth it's called the about the artist dress and I love it.  I took my measurements picked my size and it arrived today but the bodice is tooooooo tight. Sad  I'd take a picture but for my modesty's sake and your eyes protection I'll just describe the problem.  It fits everywhere except the bodice and the bodice fits right if it's unbuttoned all the way .  I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for simple alteration I could make so I could wear this gorgeous dress.  I was thinking about somehow inserting a panel into the front so it looks like I have a tank top underneath but not sure that would look good or if that's simple.  Any suggestions or ideas would be helpful Cheesy  Thanks in advance!

3  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Altered Puzzle on: June 01, 2010 11:52:45 PM
I was so inspired by all the wonderful altered puzzles I've seen on this board that I had to make one myself.  It was a great experience and I really enjoyed getting to experiment with techniques.  This is also my first post on this board so I wanted to say thank you to all the great artists on this board that have inspired me to keep trying new things.  Now on to the photos Cheesy
First up is the box to keep the puzzle in it's pretty simple I may jazz it up a little but I was losing steam at this point.

This is the puzzle all done, sadly the pieces warped so it doesn't fit together as well as it should which disappointed me but I'm just glad that it turned out as well as it did

I'm so pleased with how this turned out I'm using it as a prize on my blog.  Any comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Phedre the Garden Poppet on: June 07, 2009 08:00:47 PM
Big breath...okay here I go!  So this is my first post I've been lurking here for quite awhile but I finally have the nerve to post something.  A big thank you to Ghillie and the poppet along for the pattern and all the great ideas that helped me put Phedre together.  I forgot to take progress shots but Phedre and I headed out to my garden today for a little photo shoot so she could show off.  I'm really proud of her, I haven't sewn anything in years but the pattern was excellent and all the great tut's posted by such fab craftsters made this a very sucessful first project.  Thanks!!  Okay enough typing and on with the pics.
