1  My First Diaper Cake in Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies by ghanne on: July 27, 2011 02:18:17 PM
Sorry it's yet another diaper cake post Tongue but I'm really proud of this my first cake for my first nephew!  My sister is doing a jungle theme for the nursery so I thought I'd use it for the cake.  I hate pastels so I went with bright colours and I think it's fun!  Let me know what you think.

2  Altered Puzzle in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by ghanne on: June 01, 2010 11:52:45 PM
I was so inspired by all the wonderful altered puzzles I've seen on this board that I had to make one myself.  It was a great experience and I really enjoyed getting to experiment with techniques.  This is also my first post on this board so I wanted to say thank you to all the great artists on this board that have inspired me to keep trying new things.  Now on to the photos Cheesy
First up is the box to keep the puzzle in it's pretty simple I may jazz it up a little but I was losing steam at this point.

This is the puzzle all done, sadly the pieces warped so it doesn't fit together as well as it should which disappointed me but I'm just glad that it turned out as well as it did

I'm so pleased with how this turned out I'm using it as a prize on my blog.  Any comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

A big thank you to Ghillie my first poppet is done and I'm very pleased with how she turned out! You can see more of her on the toys board.  Her name is Phedre and she was so much fun to make.

4  Phedre the Garden Poppet in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by ghanne on: June 07, 2009 08:00:47 PM
Big breath...okay here I go!  So this is my first post I've been lurking here for quite awhile but I finally have the nerve to post something.  A big thank you to Ghillie and the poppet along for the pattern and all the great ideas that helped me put Phedre together.  I forgot to take progress shots but Phedre and I headed out to my garden today for a little photo shoot so she could show off.  I'm really proud of her, I haven't sewn anything in years but the pattern was excellent and all the great tut's posted by such fab craftsters made this a very sucessful first project.  Thanks!!  Okay enough typing and on with the pics.
