yeah my boyfriend and I solved our problems so here are the only pics I could get of our costumes.


I alredy had the white blouse, for the shoes I bough a pair of white flats and added red glitter with white glue.



For his costume I bought that flannel shirt for 1 dll and added the straw with duct tape(actually ripped dry corn leaves), I also bought that awesome hat for a dollar and added straw with duct tape


With the mad hatter, his costume was gorgeous, just unbelievable, and I SO wanted my shoes to be in the pic

He is a scarecrow, the other guy is the crow and he is scared, get it? haha duh!! silly me...

Hi, I sell muffins at school to pay for ballet classes and stuff
the thing is my muffins are like flat, and I want them to be more puffy :S
I use Betty Crocker or Duncan Hines cake mixes
here's a graphic to explain my problem


Im filling the paper cup to the top :S

what do you think it could be happening?
Am I adding too much water?
too much oil?
Its the oven Too hot
or not hot enough?
isnt it possible to get cute puffy cupcakes with premade cake mix?

sooo I made oreo balls to give to my boyfriend on v day with this painting: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=290035.0

but I just like made them and stored them in a plastic bag in the freezer and today I just came up with the idea of using one of this (empty can of cocoa powder):


to make this:




I tried for hours to get a decent pic of the tulle details but it was just impossible
and Green is really MORE green in real life, its like fluorecent green, red is brighter and falalala
 
its something really simple, but anyways I wanted to share, just cutted a lime green sheet to the size, glued it with UHU (all purpose glue) then I painted the words ''te amo''(I love you in spanish, we are from mexico ) with black pain aaaaand then cutted some blue tulle and glued it over the green sheet, and theeeeeeeen cutted our initials and a heart on a piece of red foamy i just found in my home and voila! listo! haha

do you think this is normal?

and dont think those things have been forever, those are from the last 4/5 days :S and there where more on the other side of the desk, I think I may have a problem with that thing XD haha I LOVE IT

sooo I painted this portrait of my boyfriend and me to give it to him in vanlentines day, I also added a heart with our initials inside, simple idea, I had to do everything twice, first time I made a total mess with the black paint, also that tone of red was hard to get :S I wasted a complete bottle of red paint trying to get there, but at last I did it and it turned better that what I had imagined hahaha so here it is
(I chose those colors cause he LOVES dr pepper and he has plans on decorating his room with a dr pepper theme)

my mom said that it doesnt really looks like me and also his left eye looks weird (ill try to fix it maybe, but I think its ok since I dont consider myself an artist when it comes to draw/paint and that stuff, I dont paint since i was in 2nd semester (like 2 years ago)

The boy thinks Im not giving him anything cause we had a big fight and he told me he doesnt deserve a single gift from me so I told him, ok I will just give you some oreo balls (im making many oreo balls to give to my friends and family)

I dont really know if its right to post this stuff here, but I really wanted to share this, I enjoyed the making so much and we were really proud.

As many of you may know, dia de muertos is a really really important celebration here in México and its part of the tradition to make a shrine dedicated to our loved ones that are alredy dead, in my home we make a shrine every year, dedicated to my grandparents, my uncle and a friend of mine. But in school there's a shrines exhibition, each class makes a shrine, this year we dedicated our shrine to Tin Tan (German Valdes) (Im a big big fan). For those who dont know, he is one of the most important Actors we've had in México, He made the 'pachuco' culture famous in our country, he was a great actor, singer, dancer and he made voices for disney: Tomas O' malley (aristocats) and Baloo (the jungle book) for Latin America.

In the shrine people normally puts food that is supposed to be eaten by the deads, so we put their favorite foods, they only eat the scent and then alive people eats that food and its supposed to bring good luck, the shrine is also decorated with flowers, paper decoration,sugar skulls, candies, season fruits, pictures of the honored people, things that they enjoyed in life (cigarrettes, beer, toys in children's case...), candles to iluminate them, salt, water, coffee......

after all of hard work and the exhibition, we were able to eat all the food, mole, enchiladas,chilaquiles, arroz con leche, tacos, candies, fruits, pan de muertos (dead's bread, not made of dead people xD), and all the tasty stuff we had on the shrine.

hahaha yaaaaaaaay I LOVE PINK and I'm Stephany's biggest fan (and yeah I'm 17, so?) XD ha ha like 7 months ago i decided i wanted to be stephany for halloween, I already had the legwarmers and tights, my mom helped me with the dress and i bought the cheapest wig i could find 10dlls and i had to cut the length xD hahaha, oh i also made the little bag 15 min before the party started ...
I had so much fun and kids were chasing me and they wanted pictures with me and they wanted to say hi and hug me, i almost cried of happines, actually someone asked me to go to her daughter party hahaha... i have another party in 2 weeks and I'm SO excited to wear my costume again...
