I did it! I made my first top! Its from McCalls 5640.  I have never made clothing and i dont really know how to read patterns but I figured it out and if it was something I didnt understand I just made it up.

Im trying to make a Rorschach pillow/doll.  It it going to be from the shoulders up.  so i know i will put a collar and scarf on him and I can do his face but have no idea how to make his hat. any ideas?  i guess where I am stuck at it how to not make it look like a derby hat.  Im not sure how to shape it.  I dont know how to put the dimples in the hat.

I made a pillow.  I didnt get the squares to match up perfectly but it is damn close.  not to bad for my first try.  i cant wait till i start a new project.

WOW was that hard to pick out one shot!  So here it goes.  I am sure you will see lots of maco flower shots but I have to add mine.  I used only a little point and shoot camera and NO PHOTOSHOP!
