Sorry if all of you already know about this, but I just found out and couldn't resist posting!

ReadyMade Magazine is selling the long lost issues 1,2 and 3 as PDF files for five dollars a piece! How cool is that?

Incredible! Just today I was cleaning my room and thinking, I wonder if there is anything I can do with this empty CD spindle. Then, thinking to myself that I was a crazy pack rat...threw it away, must...resist...the urge...to keep.

Now thanks to your post my CD spindle has been saved from the garbage. It sends its thanks. Fab idea.

I'm working on the Alien Illusion Scarf as well, but my alien is coming out fine...hmm, maybe I made some mistake in reading the chart, because this is my first chart project too! Happy knitting!

Hi Everyone,

My mom is a chef, and she collects aprons, and this year I thought that I could sew one for her, instead of buying her one. Does anyone know where I could find a cool pattern? I would prefer the type with a bib, that halters behind the neck. Vintage looking ones would be cool too! Thanks!

Edit: Never mind everybody, I found exactly what I was looking for here: http://ejmtph.crosswinds.net/sew/apron.html
816  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Help: Perfect Present for a Perfect Boy on: November 10, 2003 05:11:53 PM
Help! I'm making Christmas gifts this year, as usual, and I'm stumped as to what fantastic thing I can create for my best guy friend. This boy means the world to me, so it can't be anything that I just think of off the top of my  head. Do any of you have suggestions? He's almost nineteen, and very renaissance man-like. Loves art, books, music. And my crafty skills are willing to tackle pretty much anything Smiley Thanks Everyone!
