Cool. Thank you! :3
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / could anyone tell me what kind of hat this is? on: June 02, 2008 07:48:33 PM
I think I saved it from a thread here, but I honestly don't remember where or I'd look that up but....

Does anyone know what this kind of hat is called, or have a pattern for it? It doesn't quite look like a baseball cap (too shallow) and I'd like to make one for myself, but without what kind of hat it is, I'm not sure where to begin in finding a pattern. =/

Thanks in advance.

Very cool, and I greatly approve of the lining design. I made myself a simple wallet with the exact same fabric! XD

What's the difference between a fat and thin machine needle? Does the fat one handle thicker fabric better or something? ^^;;;

Your tut is awesome, I'm fairly new to sewing, and it was a breeze for me. :3

Here's mine. Sorry for the crappy image, and the fact that it's a link. I'm a newbie poster, and I only have my webcam to take pictures with. ^^;; I used spools of thread to poof mine since I don't have any kleenex at the moment.

9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Re: Tutorial for turning bag handles or fabric tubes on: April 12, 2008 06:45:45 PM
I don't know about heavier fabrics, as I generally work with cotton and/or silk, but I find it easy to take a safety pin and pin the start of my tube and push the safety pin through. The pin is easier to hold onto than the fabric would be so you can use it to pull one end of the tube through to the other.

I hope that made sense.

If it makes you feel better, you have it turning in the correct direction to pass it off as a symbol of peace. The Nazi swastika wheels to the right, but yours is is left wheeling. You can just say it's hindu or buddhist :3
