I am SOSOSO happy to report that I have received Sinjah's package!

Included is a home made body scrub, several different teas (green tea with vanilla infusion?  yes pls), a candle, an avacado oil and walnut exfoliating mask, a crocheted octopus stuffie, a scented heating pillow, and a pink thing that I don't know what it is (?)  but I'M STILL REALLY EXCITED ABOUT IT.  Thank you so much, Sinjah!  I'm going to try some of the tea now!

3  Tron Bonne & Servbot in Halloween Costumes by littlemisspoof on: September 30, 2011 06:58:05 AM
Hokay so for Halloween my beau and I have decided that I'll go as Tron Bonne and he'll be a servbot (he did not go for the idea that he would be the Gustaff Mecha and carry me around on his shoulders all night).  For the mecha I'm thinking I'll just get one of those pop up hampers, cut it to my waist and paint it/add appendages with paper towel rolls etc (other possible materials?).  For the servbot costume I was thinking just jeans and paint a shirt.  Maybe paint some tissue boxes yellow and add to his shoes.  For the face I think I'm going to just get a yellow/gray hat.

I was just posting in case anyone had any ideas for a) a better way to make the mecha/arms and b) an alternative for making his costume a little more recognizable/less ridiculous.

He was also thinking about going as Akuma, which I might just do because it would be super duper easy and I could spend more time on my costume.   Wink

Tron Bonne!

Servbots!

Thank you for your impending wisdom!

Okay just kidding this is much better than doing my pesky homework and running my pesky errands.

Here's an overview of everything (cute packaging, no?)

#1 - Jewelry from Pee Wee's Big Adventure!!!  I honestly was wearing this shirt when I opened it.

Details.

#2 - Pouch from High Fidelity!  Manthing has already called dibs on this.

Top Five Records. :]

#3 - Bookmark from Annie Hall!  His legs broke off, but I think that makes it even cuter, actually.

BONUS #4 - Sketch of Nietzsche from Little Miss Sunshine!!!!

Just to compare (and entertain):

THANK YOU SO MUCH, SPAZGIRL1981.  It really is the best package I've gotten in the mail.

Here's a close-up of the magnets - they have these adorable mushrooms on them!

The bracelet is BEAUTIFUL.

Close up on the necklace.

I just love this card!

Thank you, juliminusthee (who I happened to also be sending to)!!!  I love my package!

I just received my package!  I figured I should tell you as I have already informed every person within a half mile radius.

There's something written on the package but I can't read it!  Probably because of the recent rain. :[

I also accurately guessed my secret santa. :]

I am so excited!!!! Can we open now please please please please?

I have to hurry and shower before the post office closes but I just wanted to say that I can't wait for my package!  I set up a Christmas tree and everything.  Even though I'm Jewish.  Wink  Good excuse to try out polymer clay for handmade ornaments!

9  H Scarf in Knitting: Completed Projects by littlemisspoof on: March 28, 2010 01:18:20 PM

I made this for my sister.  I knitted the scarf and then crocheted the H (for her name - Havi) onto the scarf.  She managed to undo the H by fiddling with it, so I'm scared I may have done it wrong.  Tips?  It was pretty while it lasted. =/

10  Superman T-Shirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by littlemisspoof on: March 28, 2010 01:16:10 PM
So the t-shirts were on sale at Michael's so I decided to turn my pillow project into a shirt for my best friend.

I just used fabric markers for the design and backed it on a bandanna and sewed it on!  I used embroidery thread because I think it looks cool. :]  I think that might mean it won't stay on as long, though. =/

Sort of blurry.  It's not very exciting but it's the first time I've done something like this!
