Ok, so I had this blue silky chinese dress thing that my grandma gave me when I was like 3, and it finally fits me : )
but I don't really like it, so I cut it and hemmed it to make a shirt thing...
I know, not a whole lot of effort on my part, but I like it...
I'll post pics later....

Hi! I live in canton, new york, which is like a half hour from the canadian border...
I'm 16, homeschooled, and I love going to the thrift store, buying clothes, ripping them apart, and sewing them back together again...as something different, obviously : )
I love this site too!!!

haha, I feel your pain.
about the small town thing, I mean. : )
my problem is that there are NO good stores here....
People don't seem to get style here though : )
I don't know about you, but my small town is also a northern town, so I can't even wear a skirt without hearing

If you like the shirt as a whole, just not the neckline, you could just kind of change the neckline...
like you could cut around the top like a tube top, then add straps or something..
sorry, it's kind of hard to explain in writing... : )
but...yeah. that's what I would do...if it makes any sense : )
it's a cute shirt...
as for the other shirts, I would maybe buy four or five of them and make them into a dress or skirt of some kind...
I like the colors : )
