Its not really any specific style... I have a pattern but I figure I can modify it. I want them to be fitted around the thighs and bum and loose (flared?) at the knees.

Love the colour. Don't you just love proving doubting parents wrong?  Tongue

While I have not *made* them, I have *worn* lined pants. So has my dad and husband. We live in Wisconsin. Lined pants are nice! I don't think it should be too problematic. Have you lined things before?

I haven't ever lined anything before. But hey, there's a first time for everything.

Thanks for the feedback.  Smiley
565  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Lining flannel pants question on: May 01, 2008 06:14:42 PM
I bought some cotton flannel the other day and dyed it purple. I planned to make a pair of pants out of it but now I'm worried that it might wear out too quickly. I was thinking of having a double layer of fabric so the pants would be warmer/not wear out. The idea of lined pants may be a strange one, but I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work. Then again I've never made pants before. Thoughts on this idea would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I'm not a fan of short skirts. But that's cute.

Last time I went there I didn't find what I wanted. But maybe I just wasn't looking hard enough.

Wow, I had no idea there was a spotlight in the David Jones building in Rundle Mall. I knew there was one in Myer though... Hmm. I shall have a look next time I'm there. Thanks!

Oh..! No no. I'm all mixed up..! hah

Not David Jones Building *palmface*

It is the standard Myers one. I just dont use the myers building to go up to it. I go in through the little arcade bit after the Myers Building and then up the elevator. It's the building Radio Rentals are in too....

I'm Sorry.! that's what late night craftster foruming will do to you

haha No problem.  Cheesy
