I'm one of those people who think that almost everything looks better (ALMOST) when they are extra tiny  Wink I'm contemplating doing 1,000 cranes in that size...hmmmm  Undecided

Cheesy Cheesy I'm so flattered to know that you like them so much. I wore mine out shopping the other day and got compliments from strangers  Grin

Hi there! I just wanted to stop in and say your cranes are cute. And I love the doll. I made cranes like that to entertain myself while sitting through long lectures. lol I actually did mine without tweezers. Of course, I had really long nails, so I was able to use them to get into the points. hehe Probably would have to use tweezers now - had to cut the nails because juggling a baby all day caused them to break. Sad But anyways, really awesome work!

Thank you so much! I used to fold with my nails too, but it's hard to have long nails when I also sculpt things in clay - they leave marks everywhere! Tweezers give more precise folds too Smiley

Thank you so much for the compliments, you made me blush ^^

Yes I used tweezers to fold them, it's not that hard for me to fold small, what's challenging is getting them to sit right inside the vials without distorting the folds!  Tongue

those are adorable!

I started making paper cranes when I read the book "Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes." I was in grade school and tried to make a thousand. Think I got to about 500 and gave up.

But whenever I eat starbursts, I always make some out of the wrappers.

Love origami crafts! Great job!

Sadako Sazaki, the little girl who died of nuclear radiation during the war? The story is so inspiring I even made a doll of her...well sort of, check it out here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=282099.msg3195646#msg3195646
