I was inspired by the ladies from Damsel in this Dress to make my own DIY version of their awesome scrappy bustles! I made my bustle using upholstery samples and scraps I was given last year. I love how my bustle turned out and got tons of compliments on it when I wore it to the Medieval Faire
I've been wanting to try making a no-sew tutu but didn't want to start with a full sized one...so I made one for my dog! It was so easy to make and I can't wait to get some pretty tulle and make one for me now!
I also made a tutorial for the tutu and posted it to my youtube channel.
I have a habit of buying only one brand of jeans...which is great for know what size I need. But really bad when you look at my closet and all my jeans are identical. So I came up with a solution and added some fancy stitching to set my jeans apart from the rest
They remind me of the fact in Victorian times, the woman of the house used to use her jewelry to decorate the Christmas tree. I like the fact you used the chain links. I tried it, and just strung mine on thread.

I saw some really cute beaded ornaments at a store but didn't want to pay the high price for them. So I went to a discount jewelry store and picked up a couple of beaded necklaces and made my own ornaments...and I love them! I've made seven sets so far (only have pictures of two right now)! I'm in love with making these ornaments and I love that they are made out of re-purposed beads
