Thank you so much. I will put it to good crafting use. I already have a long list of things I may get with it...The list exceeds the prize though, so I will have to prioritize.

My June Mini List:

Hawaiian Tote
Rainbow Quilt
Flannel Quilt
Various Crafts to sell
Felt Activity Book

My goal for this month is to complete one thing a day. Even if it is only one block to a quilt. I always miss the 'Thing a day' in February and I want to challenge myself to get it done.

cursive_queen: I found the panels at a variety of fabric stores. Joanns is the worst to find them, but quilting shops tend to have them. I also got a couple at Fabric Depot, so maybe their online store would have some.

lydiaharper: The cake has both on it. I used the extra cake to crumble and mix with frosting for the larger 'boulders' and malted milk balls for the smaller ones.

I have been super busy lately. I spent the whole beginning of the month completing swap projects, and thought I would never get to anything that I wanted to do for my family. The whole last week though, I powered through a ton of stuff.

Completed for May (as of May 30): 16

A reversible swiffer cover. One side is microfiber the other is a scrubby. I got one of these in a swap but it didnt fit so I took the idea and went to the dollar store and bought more towels.

5 Fabric books for my son. I bought the panels and just sewed them up.

2 Headbands (counting as one project) for my sister

Brown Bear memory game. There are a lot more pieces, but my son was already chewing on them and I didn't have the heart to take them away.

Canvas Wall hanging. I haven't put pictures on it yet because I want to add pics of my son's 1st birthday and that isn't until November

A set of fabric letter cards

A mountain bike cake for my nephew

A set of phonics blocks. I am planning on homeschooling my son and have been trying to make things as I see them on-line so when the time comes to actually use this stuff it is ready to go]

A set of phonics cards

Some Kanzashi flowers for hair accessories

A freezer paper stenciled floor mat for my nephew. This was tough because it is ridged and the paint kept bleeding into other ridges.

A reversible apron that I designed based on pictures I have seen of this type of apron.

And here is my updated list:

I got my awesome package from rlynn today!

I love the hedgehog. I actually got another one is a swap over a year ago and use it everyday, but have too many pins for it. Now I can 'quill' this one up with my special pins.

Gah!  May is almost over and I have like NOTHING to show for my work this month Undecided  It's all been swap stuff, and I said I would not be counting and more swap items as projects on this to make me do things for me and my family and friends.  Crumbs...there is a week or so left yet...we will see what comes of it for me!

I know what you mean. I have completed 8 total projects for this month so far, but 6 of them are for swaps. I also said I wasn't going to count swaps this year because I want to make more things for my family and myself. I am almost done with all my swap projects for this month, so hopefully I will get some of my projects done before the end of the month.
8  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Spring Cleaning 2010: Fill a FLAT RATE Box; GALLERY send by 5/22 on: May 18, 2010 12:48:05 PM
I received the most amazing package from ~Glenda yesterday. She sent me almost 12 total yards of fabric in many different patterns. I love all the designs so much, now I have to get going on some of  my WIP's so I can play with all my new fabric!

Everything, including the yarn and awesome buttons

A more close up of the fabric I got. My favorite is the moon and stars fabric and the pink and green polka dots. I actually got a fat quarters worth of the pink and green fabric in another swap, but never used it because I didn't want to waste such a small piece. Now I have a lot of it to play with!!

Thank you so much, I loved it all.

I am so glad you liked all the stripes. I had a hard time finding solids and was just hoping you would be ok with all the stripes.

I am so glad the gorilla shirt matches the book, I wasn't sure if there were different covers.

It is fun to see how your questionnaire was interpreted differently.
