1  Re: 50 Projects 2010 in Craftalongs by DeannaLynn06 on: May 30, 2010 09:14:33 PM
I have been super busy lately. I spent the whole beginning of the month completing swap projects, and thought I would never get to anything that I wanted to do for my family. The whole last week though, I powered through a ton of stuff.

Completed for May (as of May 30): 16

A reversible swiffer cover. One side is microfiber the other is a scrubby. I got one of these in a swap but it didnt fit so I took the idea and went to the dollar store and bought more towels.

5 Fabric books for my son. I bought the panels and just sewed them up.

2 Headbands (counting as one project) for my sister

Brown Bear memory game. There are a lot more pieces, but my son was already chewing on them and I didn't have the heart to take them away.

Canvas Wall hanging. I haven't put pictures on it yet because I want to add pics of my son's 1st birthday and that isn't until November

A set of fabric letter cards

A mountain bike cake for my nephew

A set of phonics blocks. I am planning on homeschooling my son and have been trying to make things as I see them on-line so when the time comes to actually use this stuff it is ready to go]

A set of phonics cards

Some Kanzashi flowers for hair accessories

A freezer paper stenciled floor mat for my nephew. This was tough because it is ridged and the paint kept bleeding into other ridges.

A reversible apron that I designed based on pictures I have seen of this type of apron.

And here is my updated list:

I got my awesome package from rlynn today!

I love the hedgehog. I actually got another one is a swap over a year ago and use it everyday, but have too many pins for it. Now I can 'quill' this one up with my special pins.

3  Re: Spring Cleaning 2010: Fill a FLAT RATE Box; GALLERY send by 5/22 in The Swap Gallery by DeannaLynn06 on: May 18, 2010 12:48:05 PM
I received the most amazing package from ~Glenda yesterday. She sent me almost 12 total yards of fabric in many different patterns. I love all the designs so much, now I have to get going on some of  my WIP's so I can play with all my new fabric!

Everything, including the yarn and awesome buttons

A more close up of the fabric I got. My favorite is the moon and stars fabric and the pink and green polka dots. I actually got a fat quarters worth of the pink and green fabric in another swap, but never used it because I didn't want to waste such a small piece. Now I have a lot of it to play with!!

Thank you so much, I loved it all.

6  Re: Frugal Living 2: Return of the Cheap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by DeannaLynn06 on: April 29, 2010 08:42:54 PM
I got my wonderful goodies today from love2teach! She sent some great things.

Everything all together:

Reusable swiffer covers. These are amazing! They are double sided, one side is microfiber and one side is scrubby. My mom stole one the moment I told her what it was. So unfortunately I only have one now.

Four reversible napkins. These are great colors and will match my new kitchen decor very well.

Four sandwich wraps. They have food safe rip nylon on the inside to make them easy clean. My husband absolutely loved them. He said they are better then ones I made for him because now he can pack his pb&j sandwiches and they wont leak through the fabric.

Finally two velcro snack bags. They match the sandwich wraps and have the nylon in them as well.

Thank you so much!!

8  Re: A Week of Baby Onesies Swap Round 4 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by DeannaLynn06 on: April 17, 2010 04:11:22 PM
I received my wonderful package today from troll1984. It is a great collection for my son. I can't wait until he fits in them (within the next month or so I hope).

First up the Pirate outfit (from my wist), a onesie with Rohan's initials on it, a tye dye in subtle colors, my special treat of Reese's and an empty scrap album for pics.

Next up a toxic onesie (from my wist), a tie onesie, and a green lantern onesie to appease my husband. I had to look up what it was, because I just don't know anything about comic book stuff.

Finally a pic of Rohan enjoying one of the onesies. I pulled them out of the box and he quickly snatched one to taste test.

Thank you so much. I love everything!

here is another picture of the Rock shirt. The green is supposed to be neon, but when it dried it blended into the shirt a lot.

I am so glad you like everything. I can't wait to see the action shots.
