My dad goes through a TON of meds and has a huge bag full of old medicine containers (orange ones) that vary in size. I'm wondering what to do with them? I don't need them for anything small like beads, etc. I want to incorporate them somehow into the game room im making.
I thought about stacking them for decoration in the corners....not sure..ideas?
My boyfriend and I have a two bedroom apartment, of which we finally decided on what to do with our spare room.
We decided to turn it into a game/guest room, and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for the game portion. My boyfriend LOVES Final Fantasy, Mario and Zelda. I'm kind of wondering how I can make the room look super sweet but still not overloaded because it is paired with a guest room. Any thoughts?
Hi..I've never done a swap on here before...but maybe someone can help me out here.
So..my boyfriend is OBSESSED with Star Wars - he LOVES those Ewok's in the one movie (feel free to google.) For our 5 1/2 year anniversary..or even Christmas I was looking to have a stuffed plush made for him of an Ewok. The toy ones online are Waaaaaaaaaaaay to expensive (hey, I'm not rich - I'm in college!! ) so..I was wondering if anyone knew how to make one?doesn't have to be perfect! Please message me, or e-mail me at: email@example.com. I would GREATLY appreciate it!!
Hi Ladies - Sorry, this may be the wrong spot ..but here's the scoop!
I'm looking for ideas how to make a cookbook. I'm moving into my first apartment next week with my boyfriend of SIX YEARS =) we got some fave's of our mommie's cooking etc...I want to add color pictures. I'm hoping to use MS Word 2007 - and I'm good with computers...I just can't find inspiration for a cute layout/design...ideas anyone?
Got any boyfriend -friendly recipes? he <3's pizza.
So for my friends bridal shower a couple weekends ago, I made her these fruit trees. I made two. The total with all the fruit was $20 for two of these trees - half the cost of an actual edible arrangement, and for my price, I got two!
I used honeydew, muskmelon, pineapple, bananas and strawberries. I saved the top (leafy) part of the pineapple to stick the skewers in. A tip, place the top of the pineapple on a stable plate before starting, and ALSO: stick a piece of pineapple on the end of the skewer, it keeps the other fruit from sliding down the stick.
She loved these, and I'm still gloating mentally about how good they turned out, even though it was simple, and I'm sure anyone could do it..haha.
Ps) We used this for a fondue station....so yummy!
So, I felt like being uber creative, so I decided to make this cake for my boyfriend's sister. She LOVES designer purses, so...I felt an itch of inspiration here.
This was my FIRST cake ever using fondant...and I think this cake weighed like 7-10lbs I SWEAR.
Sorry, I don't have a tut up yet, but basically, I took a strawberry pink cake mix, made the cake in a rectangle pan, and shaped it when cool to the shape of the purse. (Cut off the corners). I then added butter cream frosting, then rolled out white fondant. I cut and trimmed, and made the handle, and little pieces for the purse. I then took those cake gels and designed the purse. Pretty simple, but very hard if your a perfectionist..like me. THOUGH, this is far from perfect!
