I used honeydew, muskmelon, pineapple, bananas and strawberries. I saved the top (leafy) part of the pineapple to stick the skewers in. A tip, place the top of the pineapple on a stable plate before starting, and ALSO: stick a piece of pineapple on the end of the skewer, it keeps the other fruit from sliding down the stick.
She loved these, and I'm still gloating mentally about how good they turned out, even though it was simple, and I'm sure anyone could do it..haha.
Ps) We used this for a fondue station....so yummy!
