1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Quilted Camera Bag on: August 16, 2008 09:24:31 AM
I had a dilemma when I bought my new camera.  All camera cases/bags look like awful little backpacks for the camera.  To get around buying something hideous, I decided to make my own bag.  I am a quilter, so I made a cute little quilted bag.  I used Etsuko Furuya fabric for this.

2  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / My First Quilt on: August 15, 2008 07:33:05 AM
Here are some images of my first quilt.  I took an introductory class at The City Quilter in NYC.  We all completed a four-block sampler quilt.  I used mostly Amy Butler fabric.  This quilt was made in April 2007.  Enjoy!

3  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / NYC Subway Quilt on: August 12, 2008 09:36:37 AM
This is a quilt I made for my student in an after-school program.  He's 16 years old and I wanted to make something that he would appreciate.  Because we live in New York, I decided on the NYC Subway map.  It's a very distinct image that is immediately recognizable (if you live here).  I also used NYC themed fabric for the borders and backing. He ended up loving it and I was so relieved.  Teen boys are the hardest to make quilts for, at least I think so.

Sorry -- Craftster won't let me post pictures yet!  Enjoy the links.
